Walking for Change

Bristol Palin today posted on Facebook:

Suicide is one of the most devastating things that can happen in a family. While losing a loved one is tragic, losing a loved one due to suicide is even more painful. That is why I was proud to support Mark Ballas and his mom, Shirley Ballas, at the Out of the Darkness Community Walk in Santa Monica yesterday.

Out of the Darkness sponsors healthy, positive community walks to raise funds and awareness for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Proceeds from the walks benefit the AFSP in many ways including: research, advocacy, outreach and education. I urge you to learn more about Out of the Darkness Community Walks, and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
