Lights, Camera, Action!

Let Tuesday, May 25, be known as the night that many Americans went to sleep feeling a bit more confident that their country's future would soon be in good hands. Learning that a full-length movie "extolling Palin's governorship and laying to rest lingering questions about her controversial decisions to resign from office" (from Real Clear Politics) would premier this June in Iowa gave many of us that warm, fuzzy feeling that all was right in the universe. Sure, it's not the "official" announcement, but one more star appears aligned in a direction that points to a Palin run.

And what a night for the information to emerge! We have the hype from those who buy into the traitorous accusations by Frank Bailey, who looked rather impotent when talking with Sean Hannity on Tuesday night. (Good Job, Hannity!) Private messages exchanged between one of Palin's close aides and a supposed "supporter" that contained information not intended for public consumption were featured on a so-called "reputable" conservative web site. And Monday, we were told that Roger Ailes, President of Fox, thinks (based on an "anonymous" source, of course, because no name given must mean that its really, really true) that Sarah Palin is "stupid." He denied it the next day, and for now, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. But the story about the future release of this pro-Palin film knocks all those bits of news far from the front page.

Right now we have a President who is drinking beer and wine in Europe while tornadoes cause death and destruction in the country he is supposed to be leading. Can any of us imagine a President Palin doing such a thing? Would a President Palin run away while her country was hosting the Prime Minister of Israel? Here is a simple questions to ask your friends who still have doubts: Who do you think loves this country more? Sarah Palin or Barack Obama?

I will be on pins and needles until she officially announces. However, I do trust in Sarah. And when she gives signs like "fire in the belly" or this soon to be released film, I feel a bit of relief that sanity, fiscal responsibility, and freedom will be restored in this great country once she is elected as its President.
