Stephen Bannon to release an uncut version of 'The Undefeated'

- by Josh Painter
*
Stephen Bannon, director of "The Undefeated," plan to release an uncut version of his film about the emergence of Sarah Palin on the national political scene. That version of the documentary will present an uncensored look at what the filmmaker calls a "pop-culture beat-down" of the former Alaska governor and GOP vice presidential candidate:
Although the film has been tagged with only a PG-13 rating for "brief strong language" by the Motion Picture Assn. of America, Bannon said he has created an explicit cut of the film that demonstrates that beat-down in more graphic terms. "I took out all sorts of violence and masked the vulgarity for the theatrical release because I wanted families to be able to see the film," Bannon told 24 Frames on Wednesday.

In the cut that will be shown in AMC movie theaters beginning July 15, Madonna, Louis C.K. and Pamela Anderson are among those shown in public appearances to be using epithets about the former vice presidential candidate.

Bannon said the new cut would feature things like "crucifixions, lynching and suicides," but declined to say who was behind these comments or where they appeared, saying only vaguely that they came from "Facebook and Twitter."

"People think Tina Fey is the worst of what's out there, and they have no idea," he said, referring to the actress' impersonations of Palin on "Saturday Night Live."

[...]

The filmmaker said his alternative version would be released to television via on-demand platforms and a deal with DirecTV. A spokesman for the satellite operator did not immediately reply to a message seeking comment.

Although many political figures have been attacked with hateful language and even threats on their lives, Bannon said he believes Palin has been a singular target of hatemongers.

Illinois Organize4Palin--Standing for Right in the Bastion of the Left

Illinois is often seen as one of the bastions of liberalism—the California or New York of the Midwest. Rather than cutting spending and reining in government growth during a time of economic downturn and period of massive deficits, our governor grew our state budget and increased state income taxes by 67% and corporate taxes by more than 40%. Especially with the conviction of former Governor Rod Blagojevich earlier this week (the 4th Illinois governor to be convicted of corruption since 1972), we could quite possibly even change our state motto to “Illinois: where the governors make the license plates”. In 2004, we elected Barack Obama to the Senate, which propelled him to the presidency just four years later. We’ve all become far too familiar with his failed leadership and poor policies and the effects those have on our nation. Such a recent political history may have the rest of the country asking, “what’s wrong with Illinois voters?” Take heart. Not all of us support the incompetence, lack of leadership, and poor policies of those whom our state has elected. Actually, an increasing number of us have chosen to support someone who has effectively taken on massive spending and corruption—Sarah Palin.

Organize4Palin is a grassroots organization supporting Governor Palin and her commonsense conservative message all across the country. Illinois Organize4Palin is one of the many state groups who are meeting and organizing all across the country. In the past month, we have held three meetings at locations throughout the state—from a local restaurant in suburban Chicago to a church classroom in the central part of the state to a bowling alley lounge in Chicago. A local restaurant, a church, and a bowling alley—just where you would expect down-to-earth, hard working Palin supporters to meet. The bowling alley where we met just last week is co-owned by one of our great volunteers. Check out the marquee at the bowling alley, in the heart of Chicago no less:

We have met to discuss various ways to support Governor Palin both on an individual level and on a group level. We’ve discussed specific events where we will be present in support of Governor Palin during this summer. Volunteers from Illinois have assisted with efforts in neighboring states over the past few months—from Governor Palin’s Tea Party speech in Madison, Wisconsin in April to the premiere of “The Undefeated” earlier this week in Iowa. We’ve supported Governor Palin through new media as well. One of our volunteers, Ellen, is instrumental in running the site Students4Palin—another group of Organize4Palin volunteers representing a constituency that President Obama once owned. Along the way, we’ve met more and more people who support Governor Palin. Another one of our wonderful volunteers shares this story from her cab ride following our Chicago meeting:
After I left the meeting, I caught a cab to the train station. The cabbie was friendly and talkative. In his heavily Greek accented voice, he asked why I was going from a bowling alley to the train station. I explained that I was at a meeting. He followed up, "A meeting at a bowling alley? What kind of meeting is held at a bowling alley?" I replied, "Political."

He queried, "Democrat?" I shook my head, nope, more like... independent. He gave me a puzzled look as he could tell I was reluctant to give him more information.

After he stared me down I somewhat sheepishly replied, "It was a meeting to help organize for Sarah Palin."

He asked, again, "At a bowling alley?" I replied, "The owner is a supporter, too." He nodded as if it all finally made sense to him.

He smiled and said, "I really like her." He said, "I'm a Republican but the field is full of no-goods like Romney and Gingrich." (And, he pretended to spit.) "Good for you, do you think she'll run?" I responded that we're hoping she does and will be ready to help if she does.

Despite what the main stream media wants to tell us, there is no such thing as an “unlikely Palin supporter”. We cannot be labeled, nor placed in a box. We’re unique individuals supportive of a woman who binds the three legged stool of conservatism with the seat of integrity and character. Illinois Organize4Palin is comprised of former Hillary Clinton supporters, Republicans, independents, and formerly apathetic non-voters. We’re a polychromatic group of varying religious, educational, and backgrounds. Our diversity is not only seen in our backgrounds, but in our reasons for supporting Governor Palin. Don’t take my word for it though. Let me introduce you to some of Illinois Organize4Palin’s volunteers and let them tell you themselves:

Organize4Palin volunteers in Urbana, Illinois (hometown of noted Palin Derangement Sufferers, George Will and Roger Ebert)

Organize4Palin volunteers in Chicago, Illinois

It was a family book signing as three generations of Palins were on hand to sign copies of Bristol Palin's Not Afraid of Life at the Mall of America yesterday. Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, her husband Todd, Bristol and her son Tripp were all present. Gov. Palin also signed copies of America by Heart and Going Rogue for those who also bought Not Afraid of Life.

What Governor Palin's Iowa Remarks Further Reveal

By Adrienne Ross - www.motivationtruth.com

Ask President Obama's fans why they support him so vehemently, what he's accomplished to have earned him such high praise. Often these individuals are unable to respond with anything substantive. They may stutter, spout some nebulous hope and change jargon, change the subject, or--feeling trapped--simply hurl insults. There's really not much they can say, though, is there? He's driven up the debt, alienated our allies, bowed to foreign monarchs, hurt the economy with a drilling moratorium, ignored the voice of the American people by shoving health care down our throats, and played a lot of golf.

On the contrary, ask Governor Palin's supporters why we so relentlessly stand by her side, and responses are centered in her character, her record as a city council member, mayor, oil and gas commissioner, governor, reformer, business owner, vice presidential candidate, mom, wife, athlete, and coach. If there are some who cannot rattle off her record, all of that now changes with the emergence of Stephen Bannon's The Undefeated which leaves no room for doubts about her qualifications and accomplishments and her ability to lead.

In addition to the Governor's successes in offices held, her supporters will often express their appreciation that she is something so hard to find in public figures today. They often say it this way: "She's the real deal." Americans love a strong, solid record. We need it, and she's got it. We are also crying out for a real person, a person who can be trusted, a person who has a servant's heart. We're desiring a people's person. We sense that in Governor Palin. Upon meeting her for the first time, many come away feeling they've encountered a breath of fresh air. This seems like such a small thing, but after years of gagging from the stench of politics-as-usual, that fresh air has become our craving.

Governor Palin rolled into Pella, Iowa wearing jeans, mingled with the people, watched the film about her own career, signed autographs while eating a burger, and even made impromptu remarks at the conclusion of the film. Now, from what I can tell, she had no obligation to speak, but she delivered these remarks to a cheering crowd. I saw no teleprompter. I saw no notes at all. Yet I heard plenty of substance--comments about our founding documents, American work ethic and exceptionalism, the Judeo-Christian principles upon which we were established, freedom, the private sector, our vast natural resources waiting to be developed, and our position as a beacon of light in this world. Without using notes, without batting an eye, without fumbling for the next word or phrase, she spoke. Just to be sure, I checked with Shane Vander Hart who was there. He confirmed for me that Governor Palin used no notes.

Now, not using notes is one thing, but doing so as one speaks with sincerity and passion to the values and principles that matter most to people--to Iowans, in this case--is another. Iowans are serious about their state and their place in the process of electing leaders. Iowans pride themselves, in fact, on this. And last night, Iowans applauded, cheered, and relished in this moment, not because there was just another person, with another story, giving another speech, but because they knew that this person who could throw on some jeans, sit in the midst of them, speak from her heart to them, and chill out to eat a burger with them is the real deal.

President Obama once restarted a speech when his telempromper malfunctioned. He did not readily recognize that he was repeating what he had already said. That's what happens when what you say doesn't resonate within. It's just words. However, when you mean what you say, when you are what you say, then what you say matters--and people know it.

Governor Palin has had such an impact on people because she is the rare combination of experience, intellect, and authenticity. Unlike any declared candidate for president, she is the complete package, and she is the real deal. With this realization, perhaps we've uncovered not only why she is so respected by so many, but more importantly, why she is so hated by others. They don't despise her because they believe she is a fake, as they often accuse. Perhaps they hate her because she is not, and they know it. They know the same thing her supporters know: she is the real deal--and that, truth be told, scares the crap out of them.

Capra Crucifixions

CAPRA CRUCIFIXIONS; THE SPIRITUAL I.Q. OF THE FOUNDING FATHERS & A PALIN-LESS DEBATE

Several years back, I wrote an action script with a U.S. President as protagonist that made it to the top of the food chain in Hollywood. I’d
been compelled to write it by the narrative structures director Frank
Capra (MR. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON) championed in his
best films, stories of uniquely American crucifixions. Whenever I took
a meeting off the script, I’d thank God for Capra because I wrote it
as if he would direct, albeit in the Calvary of the modern war theater.
(Capra actually directed a couple of action films in the late silent era,
though no one but me cares.)

I first knew I succeeded in telling the hard-action Capra story I’d set
out to tell when a consulting SEAL Team Sixer and the very liberal
film producer who optioned it -- cried when they read its 3rd act
denouement.

And the story I set out to tell was about a President who was willing to
lay down his life for his country.

Which brings to mind the line-up of would-be Presidents at the New
Hampshire GOP debate two weeks ago.

A debate that, for me, was all about what I didn’t see.

THE CAUSE OR THE CURE?

What I didn’t see was anyone respecting the concerned sacrifices
of ordinary (and Capra-esque) Tea Party Americans that cemented
their November 2010 wins. Rather, they seemed to be “re-debating”
two-year-old Tea Party arguments as if the election never happened.
Perhaps it’s the folly of allowing CNN to moderate, but underscored
was the fact each pol on stage was part of the political culture in
one way or another when Tea Party began in 2009. Bachmann

was ensconced in RINO-gaming ineffectiveness before she
began “listening” with her Tea Party Caucus (ask the Missouri Tea
Party about Bachmann and Roy Blunt). And anyone who doesn’t
think the Federal Reserve needs to be investigated -- or used to work
for the Fed (Cain) is not Tea Party. Sorry. The cause cannot affect
the cure.

THE FOUNDING FATHERS’ SPIRITUAL I.Q.

I also didn’t see anyone at that debate with the spiritual I.Q. of our
Founders, those willing to sacrifice hearth and home, fame and
fortune, their sacred honor and their very lives -- for the American
freedom that reflects the gift of free will given by our Creator.

Ron Paul came close to this sacrificial spirit when he preached
his economic Jeremiads in ’07-‘08. He was a lone voice in the
wilderness -- and evidently paying the price for his honesty at the
time. But today he’s a spent shell because something other than the
founding documents of this nation animate his politics, i.e. conspiracy
theories. (How do you lay down your life for a conspiracy? You don’t.
You just get more paranoid.)

THE NIGHT OBAMA TRUMPED TRUMP

I also didn’t see Donald Trump at the debate. And the reason he
wasn’t there had nothing to do with the birth certificate tragicomedy.

CUT TO: the close up of Trump’s pale expression as Obama knifed
him from the podium at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

In that painful, on-camera moment, Trump realized just how much it
would cost him to run against Obama: Everything. He would have to
take the Founder’s pledge and stake his fame, fortune -- his TV show
– all his social and business relationships in order to win the White
House. And the cost was too high.

“IT IS TO THE GLORY OF GOD TO CONCEAL A MATTER,
BUT TO THE GLORY OF KINGS TO REVEAL IT.” Proverbs 25:2

What Trump didn’t understand was his burst of political popularity
wasn’t tagged to the birth certificate issue, per se. Trump’s surge
was due to the fact he seemed to be staking his lifeblood to resolve
a matter that vexed the nation. The glory of kings -- or Presidents -
- would have been Trump’s had he held course and used all means
and resources necessary to firmly settle the matter one way or
another. (And “firmly” means WND is nearly-almost satisfied.)

It wouldn’t have mattered if Trump was proved right or wrong,
voters were reacting to the idea of his sacrifice -- of putting self-
interest aside in order to serve the interests of the people. (This is a
supreme political commodity, perhaps the only political commodity.)
Instinctually, Americans look for leaders with this type of spiritual I.Q.

THE GRAVITAS OF PATRIOTS

Because this nation can only be saved -- and a foundational
restoration of the nation can only be won -- by a people with the same
sacrificial fight in their hearts as our Founders. It is the only way
America can be America again. And only someone willing to sacrifice
for our founding ideals will have the spiritual and moral authority -- the
gravitas of patriots -- to be President.

So, for me, the last GOP debate was about all these things I didn’t
see. But the most important thing I didn’t see was someone who
reminds me of the fictitious character in my action script, a true Capra
hero, someone who’s lived through their own uniquely American
crucifixion.

The most important thing I didn’t see at the debate was this same
someone who embodies Tea Party, someone who, in fact, boldly
confronted Obama with Tea Party logic months before Tea Party ever
existed.

The most important thing I didn’t see at the debate was someone
who’s carried a “cross” of discrediting, belittling and mocking in the
MSM for years, culminating in false accusations of murder on an
international scale.

The most important thing I didn’t see at the debate was this
someone who has the spiritual I.Q. of our Founders, someone who
understands the restoration of this country can only be won by people
with that same spirit of sacrifice in their hearts.

The most important thing I didn’t see at the debate is someone, who,
if she declares she’s running for President after all she’s endured, by
that declaration she will veritably take our Founding Fathers’ pledge
-- of her life, her fortune, and her sacred honor for the sake of her
country.

Because -- America can only be America again if we have a
President with the spirit of our Founders’ sacrifice in their heart.

This is why the most important thing I didn’t see at that last GOP
debate was -- Sarah Palin.

Veni, Vidi, Vici

Thank you, Iowa! Pella represents the state beautifully & Iowa reflects America's good heart. Hard working optimistic heartlanders= love you -Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin came to Pella, IA yesterday and the love affair was mutual.

Despite not being a declared candidate for president, Governor Palin received more attention than any of the declared candidates when they appear in the state. There was a media swarm; and even many of those members of the press could not secure tickets for the screening of "The Undefeated." It's a testimony to her ability to draw people by the droves that there were so many who wanted to attend the screening and the barbecue which followed who were not be able to attend because of limited space and ticket availability. About 300 people attended the screening and around 1,000 attended the barbecue.

The Palin operation has become a grass roots movement of a large number of people who are organized and kept informed by those who became activists following her 2008 vice presidential run along with new activists who have joined the Palin movement since her resignation. Yes, that's right. Since resigning as governor, although Palin hit rock bottom in terms of polls and popularity shortly thereafter, more people have come to "have her back" now more so than ever before following a nearly three year slime fest by the mainstream media and the Republican establishment.

Palin's poll numbers still show lingering effects of a smear campaign that portrayed her as an evil intellectual lightweight bent on returning the world to the days of the dinosaurs. But, the task "The Undefeated" has undertaken to finish correcting the record is far less than that one would have imagined two years ago if looking ahead to 2012 from then. Palin remains a top tier candidate who would be competitive with the rest of the Republican field in the primaries should she choose to listen to the voices of the millions of people who are calling on her to run.

Her ability to do what she has done with her One Nation bus tour and to draw such high demand in Iowa is a testament to her strength and ability, particularly after having withstood a flood of politically motivated frivolous ethics complaints as governor of Alaska, being accused of the Arizona murders in a blood libel against her and after several hit books against her were published as the left sifted through 24,000 pages of emails looking for the gotcha one that didn't exist.

It’s not going to be easy to run for president. It will require a near perfect campaign on her part. But the biggest obstacle, the media, is finally falling on its face. The failure of the media’s email witch hunt (in fact, it helped Palin demonstrate how well she governed) and now the movie “The Undefeated” is the one-two punch to the media’s face that Palin supporters have been waiting for since the 2008 election.

The Sarah Palin sale is not one that requires selling her record. Her record stands for itself. The Sarah Palin sale is one that requires selling people on the fact that the media lies. Only when people stop listening to the media memes and bullcrap can the real sale of Sarah Palin begin. While "The Undefeated" does sell Palin's record, it does so in pursuit of the real sale: to prove once and for all that the media myth about Sarah Palin is an utter lie. Those who have participated in the sliming of Sarah Palin, especially well accredited journalists who have spent years building their integrity and gaining stature at their respective media outlets, ought to crawl away from the past three years humiliated, guilt ridden, disgraced and disgusted by their behavior. There is no difference between Journolist-gate and Weiner-gate. In both instances, some really morally inept people exposed themselves for what they really are.

The crystal ball in 2009 told us that 2012 might not happen for Palin. She could enter the race lower in the polls than expected and hinge her hopes of victory on a massive turning on the media by the public due to some unexpected event outside of her control. It was thought that her book tours, Fox News appearances and whatever movies and documentaries which would have been produced could enhance her chances in 2012; but many didn’t count on her being as effective as she has been, not because she wasn’t capable but because they believed that the media would still stop her cold.

Had this more challenging scenario played out, Palin supporters would still be fighting to the death for her and her chances of winning would still be enough to warrant entry into the race. However, the skies are much brighter now and the landscape much more navigable.

The key to all this was the constant pounding from the blogosphere and in conservative media in much the same fashion as the constant pounding against her was taking place on the left. The left got to put its bad thoughts into the minds of the public first; so it became the role of conservative bloggers, websites like Conservatives4Palin and the hundreds that are on the Palin blog roll, the Breitbart sites, talk radio and conservative talk show hosts and pundits on Fox News to flood the minds of American voters with as much or more positive information so as to offset and overcome what was being put out in the negative.

The task was akin to flushing out hundreds of millions of gallons of bad water in a lake by displacing it with hundreds of millions of gallons of good water. Those who understand the concept of how people are able to self improve by putting enough positive thoughts into their heads so as to flush out the negative ones can see how this tactic has worked so well for those on the Palin side. If you are reading this post now, chances are you are one of the many Palin supporters who have been willing to fight to the death for her and who have stuck this thing out through thick and thin. For that, you deserve high praise and a never ending river of compliments.

Yet the one who has astounded all of us the most is the (potential) candidate herself. Sarah Palin has worked harder than anyone ever has in three years to prepare herself for the presidency. In many ways, she has single handedly carried out all of the required tactics laid out by this conservative blogger and many like me. She has infiltrated the media by getting an analyst job with Fox News. She has infiltrated the pop culture by appearing on The Tonight Show (remember her all in good fun take down of William Shatner after which they both walked off stage arm in arm after mocking each other?), by supporting her daughter Bristol’s participation in Dancing With the Stars and by producing the wildly popular Sarah Palin's Alaska television series. She has infiltrated the intelligentsia's minds by writing two books, giving substance laced speeches to specialty groups and by penning op-eds which took on global climate change and health care reform.

While her online army, the Media Research Center and Andrew Breitbart among others were clanging swords constantly day after day with the loony left who were just making things up and discarding their journalistic integrity in the name of saving their socialist destruction of America from being thwarted by Governor Palin, Palin herself led the charge from her Facebook and Twitter pages. She was revered by those followers posting on their blogs, tweeting, debunking myths and taking on fire from the haters because she would join them in their battles, riding in like Xena the warrior princess to settle online clashes that had been going on for days in minutes.

Her army certainly had her back for sure; but she is their leader who fights from the front and has never been known to leave one Palinista behind wounded on the battlefield unattended. She has done the work. She is a model of success. Leaders never ask their people to do anything they wouldn't do. Leaders never show hurt, doubt or fear. Leaders make lemons out of lemonade. They think outside the box. Failure is never final, but rather knowledge gained without having to pay tuition. Those who overcome great adversity often go on to be successful. Sarah Palin is all of this and more. As such, she is the most qualified person in America today to take on the presidency.

Listen to Patrick's World USA on Blogtalk Radio every Wednesday night at 11:00 pm ET, 8:00 pm PT for some great talk about the role Sarah Palin is playing in the conservative movement toward taking back our country. The Undefeated - From Right and Left, Part 2

Last week, I reported in The Undefeated - From Right and Left, Part 1 how I was honored to review a rough cut DVD of The Undefeated in my home and attend the 8 PM screening in New York City. I wrote my review as a Palinista and invited the man who is the father figure in my life - William E. Thomas - to attend the 3:30 PM screening. His review is also included in the original story, and Damian Germinder's report, rounding out the perspective from the right.

I concluded the review with,
"The point is to bring in the independents, and those somewhat right or left of center who believe the fiction that has been spread about Gov. Palin over these past three years and/or simply do not know her record. In my opinion, the movie will succeed or fail not on winning minds and hearts, but on getting these people to the theaters in the first instance."

From the Left...David from the Diner
I met a hard leftist the morning of screening day at a diner where I occasionally have breakfast. Out of the starting gate he called Gov. Palin an "idiot" and a quitter." To him, Obama is "the best President in United States history." Needless to say, we had a heated debate. Then the light came on. "Sir...are you doing anything at eight o'clock tonight?" I asked "No, why?" "Well, I can get you in to see The Undefeated. It's about the woman you just called an 'idiot' and 'quitter.' I'd like you to see it and see if it changes your opinion of her." "Well, I do have an open mind," he said. "Sure, arrange it." He gave me his email address.

So, I did. David was to be there for 8 PM screening. I never saw him there, though there were two screening rooms and he may have been in the other one. In any case, he never returned my email asking if he showed up and what his thoughts were. If I run into him again, I'll be sure to ask. Maybe, there will be a Part 3.

From the Left...The Man in the Elevator
In the elevator, as Anna Marie Barone, LJ Regine, and I left, we met a balding man, who in the excitement I did not get to identify. He said, "I'm a Democrat, and I've got to tell you. This woman is brilliant! I can't understand the blind hatred toward her." We could see in his face that he was ashamed of vicious hatred that was on display in the movie's opening minutes. We thanked him.

From the Left...My Wife
I've been married to Elsy for 14 years and six months. We're still passionately in love, but one area where we are as different as night and day is politics. I'm a Reagan Conservative. Elsy is a borderline socialist. Couple that with her jealous streak, and let's just say it was a toxic recipe for a while. When she came home a month after my heart-signing in Bethlehem, PA, I wound up riding around with my entire "Sarah stash" in the back of my truck for three weeks. Elsy had found a rough draft of my post on the event, and let's just say she was not happy about it. Aside from the political differences, Elsy flat out saw Gov. Palin as "that woman" I was spending way too much time on. There were other things going on as well not related to politics.

But, time marches on and time heals. The non-political issues ultimately got resolved. We saved our marriage and our home. Elsy began to have more acceptance and respect for what I do. I opened up more and hid less.

A major break came involving a Palin event this year. "Sweetheart, would you like to go with me?" I asked expecting a flat "NO!" Elsy actually accompanied me. She was delighted to. She simply wanted to share with me, and not be excluded from what I was doing. Though things did not go as planned, her accompanying me was a major break-through. She even posed with my big Palin sign. Though she disagrees politically, she did it to support me.

But, could I get her to watch a two-hour movie about "that woman"? To be blunt, were she not my wife, Elsy would not have seen the movie on her own. She is just too dug in on her positions. But, knowing my history and involvement, she agreed to do it.

Monday night, I put the DVD in the player, closed the door to the master bedroom and went upstairs to run the site, syndicate, promote, and do Organize4Palin work. Though she had many criticisms of the movie (minor cinematography stuff that has since been resolved), and claims she "would have walked out half-way through," she watched it all the way to the last second. She still disagrees with Gov. Palin on policies and politics - and was able to articulate her points of disagreement. But, there was no hatred. No bile. No insults.

Though she does not like Gov. Palin the speaker, Elsy liked Gov. Palin as Wasilla's Mayor, as the AOGCC Chair and as Governor. Then...Elsy quickly said some things I never thought I'd hear her say about "that woman":
"She's a good person who has done good things."
"She could win in 2012. She's a fighter."

Elsy is still a leftist. Did the movie change her opinion of Gov. Palin? The jury is still out on that, but the prognosis is positive. She'll probably never admit it. But, I'll know over time. In a certain sense, getting her to watch The Undefeated was a journey that began on August 29, 2008 at 1226 EDT. It was in fact Elsy who post-viewing recalled Reagan (who she does not like). She recalled how I had pull over to the side of the road when I heard a woman's voice on the radio, whose name I did not yet know. I would not even know what she looked like for over an hour, but I knew what her forebear looked like and what his voice sounded like....

1976 = 2008.

1980 = 2012.

'Sarah Palin's Unlikely [Black] Supporter'; Really, ABC?; UPDATED

By Adrienne Ross - www.motivationtruth.com

ABC really needs to get a clue. There's a reason they, and others like them, are called the lamestream media. They named an article "Sarah Palin’s Unlikely Supporter." Why this title? Well, the whole basis for the use of the word "unlikely" is based on race. Sonnie Johnson, interviewed in Stephen Bannon's The Undefeated, is a tea party patriot who happens to be Black. According to the ABC title, this makes her some type of enigma. I continue to shake my head at the left who are so fond of projecting their own issues with race onto the right. They are the ones who view people of darker skin tone in the context of race alone, rather than as human beings who have the same reasoning capacity and love of country as others do.

Sonnie Johnson loves this country and loves what it represents. Therefore, she loves Governor Palin. The article highlights her support of the Governor. Their surprise, as evidenced by their title, unnecessarily sticks out like a sore thumb.

As I discussed here and Whitney here, Sonnie explains her support for the Governor:
The one trait I love about Sarah Palin is the one no one talks about. Her main promise, above everything else, is to get the hell out of my life. I would love a President who didn’t believe it was their job to create jobs. A president who isn’t scared to let the free market work because SHE believes in Free Markets. And isn’t afraid to spend her time taking on the Corruption in Washington, instead of burdening the American People with more regulations. A President who doesn’t believe in punishing the rich, but creating a level playing field where every American, connected or not, can obtain and build wealth.

These values are not limited to pockets of our society, but all people benefit from a freer, more prosperous, more ethical government. Why is it "unlikely" that Sonnie would crave such a place for her children to grow up in?

ABC News’ Sheila Marikar reports from Iowa:
There’s the stereotype of the Sarah Palin supporter, and then there’s Sonnie Johnson.

The 30-year-old African-American mother and wife is featured in “The Undefeated” as one of the many people Palin captivated when John McCain thrust her onto the national stage as his vice presidential running mate in 2008. In Pella, Iowa today for the premiere of the film, Johnson said she latched on to Palin when the former Alaska governor took the stage at the Republican National Convention.

“We were watching it on TV and my daughter was like, ‘A girl can be president?,’” Johnson recalled. “And I said, ‘Yes, baby, girls can do anything.’ That was the moment -- I saw that look in my daughter’s eye, that anything in possible. The next week, I went to my very first political event, and that was to see Sarah Palin. John McCain and Sarah Palin.”

Johnson has become increasingly involved in the tea party since then, speaking at tea party events around her native Virginia. She’ll give the keynote address at an event held by the Charlottesville, VA. tea party on the Fourth of July with her young daughter by her side.

“She’ll be on stage with me,” Johnson said. “I want to get her involved, little by little. I like to say that for the black community, nothing will change until we learn to love our children more than we love the Democratic party.”

The truth, as I thoroughly explained here, here, and here, is that the principles for which Governor Palin fights are vital for all Americans but absolutely essential for the Black community. Sonnie Johnson's support for these principles should come as no surprise. In fact, it's basic common sense. The more the message is heard--truly heard--the more it will be received--by people of all backgrounds.

May the multitudes of Americans get behind Governor Palin and declare, as did Sonnie Johnson in Iowa:
“I’ll peddle her today,” she said. “Basically, I put the option out there that if she’s going to run, I’ll be hers through 2012. Anything I can do, I’ll be hers.”

Read the full article here. Sonnie Johnson has a great story that ABC does manage to capture, in spite of their obvious surprise at such "unlikely" support.

(h/t Irma E. Muñoz)

UPDATE: To be clear, I don't have a problem discussing race. I do discuss race. I have discussed, for example, how conservative principles are an asset to the Black community, how Governor Palin's values are vital to the survival of the Black community. My purpose in pointing to ABC's strange comment about Sonnie Johnson's race is that it has no place within this article. It serves to portray her as different from other Governor Palin supporters in an attempt to continue the narrative that Governor Palin's appeal is only to certain Americans, when in fact, she appeals to a wide range of people, and what she stands for is valued by many. The reference to the unlikelihood of Ms. Johnson's support is totally out of sync with the article. It's pointless in terms of substance. It further serves to paint Black conservatives as different from other Black people, to perpetuate the sell-out, not really Black, or not Black enough accusation we so often endure. The otherwise fair, interesting article should have remained one about substance alone. But ABC had another agenda, which they tried to innocently slip in with their title.

THE UNDEFEATED IS A WINNER

Review by Kevin Scholla - June 22, 2011 New York City

We still don't know whether Sarah Palin will run for president in 2012, but if she does, The Undefeated may just be her secret weapon. The film chronicles Palin's entry into the world of politics, her time as a mayor and a governor, her run for the vice presidency, and the remarkable reactions she continues to draw from The Right, The Left, and seemingly everyone in between.

Filmmaker Steve Bannon kicks things off with a bang: Palin being introduced as John McCain's running mate, followed by a sonic boom: a compilation of some of the worst, visceral, and down right weird attacks thrown at Palin from Hollywood blabber mouths. Along with the celebrities using profanity that would make a truck driver blush, there's also some eye opening shots of protesters dressed in anti-Palin gear that will have to be edited out for sure once this film hits theaters nationwide if The Undefeated is going to avoid an X-rating. These opening salvos hurled at Palin set the tone for the film. It shows clearly how she's been portrayed by the left-wing entertainment industry and by all of the mouth breathers who take time away from Mom's basement every once in awhile to scream and yell about a woman who's done nothing to them personally. Bannon then masterfully and creatively counters these off putting assaults with a little thing known as...the truth.

Governor Palin went almost instantly from a diligent, hardworking, successful, wildly popular governor in Alaska to a woman vilified by the national media and lefties nationwide. Alarming shots of a mannequin dressed as Palin hanging by a noose, Facebook pages wishing death on her, and hateful insults fired at her family members (kids included) really hammers home just how constant and nasty the assault on Palin has been. It leaves the viewer asking 'why?'. Bannon's examination of Palin's remarkable accomplishments only intensifies the head scratching.

Members of Palin's inner circle speak throughout the better part of the film. Each one standing in front of a background as white as an Alaskan snowfall. These are people who have played a major role in Palin's private and/or political life. They are believable and forthright. Meghan Stapleton, Palin's former senior advisor and spokeswoman is particularly compelling. Her candor about situations and how things really unfolded is refreshing. Stapleton's impeccable ability to convey a story really takes the viewer right into the thick of the Palin administration. Kristan Cole is another star of the piece. A longtime friend of Palin, Cole captures the personal side of her buddy Sarah. She speaks of a woman who's genuine and loyal. Someone who thinks of others first and doesn't bow down to pressure. Bannon backs up this character portrait as the film moves on.

Sarah Palin did not participate in the making of The Undefeated. In fact, Bannon never even met her. Her presence in the film however is mighty to say the least. Footage of Palin is used throughout. Still shots of her as a young girl, home movies of basketball games and get togethers, sound of Palin from her Going Rogue audio book, and several campaign events and speeches, including her coming out party at the 2008 Republican National Convention. Before Palin's splash on the national scene is looked at though, her historic feats to benefit The Last Frontier take center stage.

The Exxon Valdez oil spill is what inspired Sarah Palin to jump into politics and eventually be elected as Mayor of Wasilla. Fittingly one of the most powerful parts of The Undefeated focuses on oil and all that comes with it. When a powerful, intimidating to most, oil exec approaches Palin at an airport and basically gets in her face and tells her to back off, Palin it is recounted, simply says nothing and stares him down. The fat cat walks away knowing this woman meant business. A woman who means business is an overriding theme of this movie.

Palin is portrayed as a leader with a spine of steel. Yet, she still remains 'Sarah' to those who knew her when. Her reaction of "Golly" after clinching the GOP nomination for governor and sharing a brief moment with her Democrat opponent is priceless. She blows the whistle on Republicans who are crippling her state while still cooking meals and finding time to pull her daughter's hair into a pony tail. She comes across as God fearing yet fun, intelligent yet self-effacing, well-known yet grounded. A regular person who is looking to serve. Not someone who had anything handed to her. A modern day picture of what the Founding Fathers envisioned.

The most incredible testimony into the character of Sarah Palin is her stunning decision to give up a six figure position because she felt that would be the best move for the state. Sarah and her husband Todd were not wealthy people. Still, she did what was right instead of what was easy. Bannon showcases numerous examples of stories like this that were rarely reported on when Palin was running for Veep. Instead the media focused on her clothes, her accent, and really anything else they could use as a tool to break the Barracuda. Three years later, it is clear they failed.

More government is not the answer. A sentiment thrown around by many pols these days. Governor Palin lives up to the slogan. An eye opening moment comes when Bannon highlights Alaska's massive budget problems. Palin and her staff read the entire budget line for line, cutting along the way, until the spending plan is feasible. A politician that actually reads something word for word before they throw their John Hancock on it? Yes She Did. Perhaps Nancy Pelosi and others should've been informed of this technique when ObamaCare was on the table.

Sarah Palin did not back down from the old boys club of the GOP, or the oil big wigs, or anyone else. Her approach to leadership in Alaska serves as a microcosm of how she would go about things in Washington. In order to be the first commander in chief that wears lipstick (at least that we know of), Palin will certainly need huge support from Independents. The Undefeated captures Palin's 'Drill Baby Drill' mentality, something that should bode well with Indies if she does indeed run. Palin's understanding of energy options and her expertise on the state that holds so much potential in that department is brought to the forefront.

Parts of Palin's near perfect speech at the RNC sent chills through the theater. The clapping and fist pumping shows the exuberance Palinistas felt in 2008 is only stronger today. Her introduction to the world that night showed us a strong, confident conservative who delivered a speech that was pretty much flawless. Another example of something positive Palin has done that has just been brushed aside in favor of fabricated, frivolous attacks. The film also delves into a very important aspect of that 2008 race. Palin helped McCain. She did not hurt him. Folks turned out in droves for every campaign stop Palin was a part of. Supporters chanted, cheered, held up lipstick, and smiled. The governor from the 49th state energized a bid for the White House that was bumbling and stumbling. McCain soared in the polls after adding Palin to the ticket. As she continued to meet America, the numbers got even better for the GOP. With Palin on board McCain surpassed Senator Barack Obama and looked to be in good shape as the stretch drive neared. Then, it was the economy, stupid.

The Lehman Brothers collapse and poor economic announcement after poor economic announcement spelled the end of the line for McCain's final shot at Sixteen-Hundred. The media would like us to believe Sarah Palin brought the campaign down. She did not. She kept it respectable. After watching The Undefeated, you can't help but wonder what would have happened if Palin weren't muzzled by the McCain campaign. She was the one going after Obama's character and associations while McCain basically prefaced every comment on the stump with, paraphrasing here, "I'm great and so is Obama but vote for me." The 1962 Mets had a better strategy for winning than that.

Despite the McCain-Palin ticket coming up short, the nation got to meet a woman that Alaska already knew. While the disgusting low blows continued to pour in from the types who never had a date in high school and currently have a Keith Olbermann poster up in Mom's basement, others rallied behind Mrs. Palin. She is loved by Constitutionalists. She is championed by many who never were politically active before. The Undefeated rightfully credits Palin as a catalyst of the Tea Party movement.

After Obama downed McCain, Sarah Palin headed back to the state she loves. She was eager to get back to work on gubernatorial chores. Instead she was faced with monkey business. Out of nowhere ethics charges galore are thrown Palin's way. The movie shows Palin handling the falsehoods she's accused of with grace. Even though they kept on coming. The media would highlight each charge as a top story. Then each and every time the governor is cleared they'd be silent or bury the decision behind the local Tiddlywinks scores. Palin persevered. Footage shows a leader continuing to go about her business at home and in the governor's office.

The Undefeated stunningly gives us the inside view of just how blood thirsty the press has been. Reporters admittedly saying they were writing slam pieces on Palin. They were intentionally trying to bring her down. They even questioned whether Palin was really pregnant when she was carrying her fifth child! One of the most important revelations to come out of this work is the reason why Palin left the governor's job when she did. The ethics charges and costs that went with them were clobbering Alaska right in the bear skin wallet. Palin recognized this. Again, instead of putting herself first she thought of who she was serving. She did not want to leave the job she loved, but she did because she thought it'd be better for her constituents. A far cry from the 'quitter' spin that is put on her departure by The Left. Palin was getting the Saul Alinsky treatment, so she took the high road and a bridge to somewhere.

Along with Palin's RNC speech the audience also became animated when President Obama appeared on the screen. Raspberries and Bronx cheers rang out in this Big Apple screening room. Free speech. But, there were no vulgarities, no threats of violence, no inappropriate barbs. Simply displeasure from Americans regarding a man's policies. Quite the contrast of how 'people' go after Palin. The strangeness and deep, dark, horrific nature of the vitriol toward Palin is demonstrated very well in the film.

From a cinematography standpoint, Bannon's baby is pretty advanced as well. He mixes in humor, symbolism and some great shots of old time Alaska beautifully. Politics aside, what really stands out as to why The Undefeated is a winner is the way the film gets more and more exciting as it moves along. Two hours seems like 25 minutes. Then the grand finale. A Palin-Reagan crescendo.

Conservative pundits are featured in front of that white backdrop later in the film. Mark Levin and Tammy Bruce really present the Palin phenomenon in plain English. Bruce talks about what drew her, a former liberal, to Palin. It's quite simple really. Palin is the real deal. Levin compares the Tea Party and Palin to the Reagan Revolution.

Not unlike Palin herself, The Undefeated calls out Democrats and Republicans alike. Andrew Breitbart slams the manhood of the GOP men who stand in silence while Palin is ripped apart unfairly and viciously by The Left, Hollywood, and the press. He chastises them for their indifference and lack of action. I couldn't agree more. Breitbart also delivers the best line of the film, saying "She (Palin) refuses to accept the premise of her destruction." Ain't that the truth?

Ronald Reagan was looked at as unelectable when he first came on the scene. We've heard that term bandied about regarding Sarah Palin as well. Bannon does a superb job of comparing Dutch with Sarah. The Undefeated includes super clips of Reagan challenging the establishment, going after reporters and politicians who try to falsify his record, and through it all maintaining a smile and a sense of humor. The film shows The Left's disdain for conservative candidates. True conservatives. Remember how loved John McCain was before he actually sewed up the nomination. Look at the recent love affair with Jon Huntsman. It's the middle of the road Republicans the Dems want to face. The Undefeated is evidence of this.

We don't yet know if Sarah Louise Heath Palin will run for president in 2012, but we do know a lot more about her if she does decide to give it a go. Judging by the portrayal of Palin in The Undefeated coupled with the response from the audience, you'd have to think if she does throw her glasses into the ring she'd have a real chance of grabbing the nomination. Then she'd have to try to make President Obama 'The Defeated'. Impossible? About as impossible as challenging a corrupt system of good ol' boys, passing landmark ethics measures, cutting spending, and being the first ever woman on a GOP ticket, all while raising five children and facing unprecedented attacks on her character and family. Hold on tight. GAME ON.

Some British Filmmaker Wastes a Bunch of Money Making an Anti-Palin Movie

A left-wing British filmmaker named Nick Broomfield (yeah, I've never heard of him either), has thrown good money after bad by putting together another anti-Palin project, this time in movie form. It's nothing new considering that bashing Sarah Palin (no matter how dishonest) is something of a favorite past-time for the left. They keep trying to justify their hatred and fear, only to come up short every time. There is no doubt in my mind that they won't stop trying however.

During this go around, Mr. Broomfield takes his camera to Alaska to interview people who were allegedly "close" to Governor Palin, and 'promises to deliver the goods by FINALLY revealing the "truth" about Sarah Palin'... Like we haven't heard that one before. To tell you the truth, if I were a PDS afflicted lefty, I would be feeling rather jaded by now with all the empty promises of this woman's demise, via one hit-piece after the other. It hasn't happened yet, and it isn't going to happen now.

The list of people Broomfield interviewed has not been fully disclosed yet. However, I did read an article in the LA Times a couple of weeks ago that claims he spoke to Chuck and Sally Heath. If that is true, Broomfield no doubt approached them under false pretenses. Why would they agree to be interviewed for a hatchet-job movie against their own daughter? They wouldn't. So, that's a pretty good indication that Mr. Broomfield lied to them in some fashion, and used their good nature to hurt Governor Palin... Which makes Nick Broomfield quite a loathsome character indeed.

The Daily Mail reported Sunday, that Mr. Broomfield also interviewed Lyda Green and John Bitney for his film. Those would obviously be people that Broomfield didn't have to lie about his intentions to. I'm sure they gladly played along for the cameras. In fact, let's take a little trip down memory lane to refresh everybody's memories as to just how non-credible both of these people are. Let's start off with Lyda Green.

From a piece I wrote back in January:
Do you remember the name Lyda Green? For those of you who don’t know, Lyda Green was the Republican State Senate President in Alaska during much of Palin’s term as governor. Shortly after McCain picked the governor to join the national Republican ticket in 2008, Green took a public swipe at Governor Palin by saying:
“She’s not prepared to be governor. How can she be prepared to be vice president or president? Look at what she’s done to this state. What would she do to the nation?”

Left-wing media publications lapped this quote up. The fact that Lyda Green was the Alaska State Senate President, a Republican, and from Wasilla no less, was all they needed to pounce on this story as a ringing indictment against Governor Palin. There was one little problem with that however. You see, Lyda Green was an old political foe of Governor Palin’s, with ties to the Veco scandal, and the “Corrupt Bastards Club.” In response to Green’s swipe, Greg Pollowitz at National Review Online wrote:
Doesn’t the far left understand that conservatives — the base of the Republican party — do not care what Alaska Republicans think of her? Alaska Republicans symbolize everything that we think is wrong with the Republican party.

For a good example of the type of stunts Lyda Green pulled on Governor Palin, Dennis Zaki (of all people) wrote a piece for the Alaska Report in January of 2008 called, “Lyda Green refuses to support Alaska’s troops.” He wrote:
Alaska Senate president Lyda Green is trying to block governor Sarah Palin from seeing her son graduate basic training Thursday at Fort Benning, Georgia.

Palin sent a letter December 18th asking lawmakers to schedule a joint session of the House and Senate to hear the speech at 6 pm on the first night of the legislative session so Palin could make a 9 pm flight that night to Seattle.

The 6 pm timeslot would allow Palin to catch a flight she had paid for and booked in advance.

Green claims that the traditional time is 7 pm and it should stay that way.

Senate Majority spokesman Green’s lapdog Jeff Turner claimed the reason the speech can’t be at 6 p.m. because the storms over the weekend interfered with many of the flights into Juneau and senators would be coming into town throughout the day Tuesday. Yet, a check with Alaska Airlines showed over 150 available seats Monday, and 125 seats available today from Anchorage. That’s not counting legislators already booked on flights. Turner’s claim is obviously a smokescreen.

A mother supporting her child at boot camp is as real as it gets.

Green has some explaining to do to her constituents in Wasilla with family members in the military.

And support our troops
You can read the full piece here and also catch a vintage report by Adam Brickley as he live-blogged Governor Palin's speech at that joint session of the legislature in 2008.

Moving on to John Bitney, Dan Riehl exposed this former aide to Governor Palin, and former campaign manager to Lisa Murkowski in August of 2010, just as the governor did in Going Rogue. He wrote:
In a surprising, and for some, hilarious bit of irony concerning the Alaska GOP primary, it seems as though if Senator Lisa Murkowski had read and paid attention to Sarah Palin's Going Rogue, she may not have found herself now fighting for her political life.
Roll Call looks back to try to pinpoint why Murkowski is in this mess, but they use an awful lot of anonymous sources to do so. The theories advanced by various unnamed "Alaska insiders" include John Bitney, Murkowski's campaign manager, being "in over his head" and an underwhelming performance by two general consultants Murkowski hired.

News reports, as well as my own sources, suggest it was Bitney's incompetence that may have been the single most significant factor in Murkowski potentially blowing the race. While Palin didn't use his name in the book, only his title, out of courtesy, as I understand it, Bitney was furious at Palin's portrayal of him as an incompetent, often unkempt video game addicted aide who often dropped the ball, leading to many of Palin's early problems as Alaska Governor. Oh, and he seemed to have a real problem keeping his clothing out of his food.

[...]

Hey, Murkowski, who you gonna believe, now - Palin's book, or your own eyes? Or, you know, maybe she tried to warn you, but you opted for GOP establishment cronyism over competence? That doesn't sound like the kind of Senator Alaska needs to me. Some gems regarding Bitney from Going Rogue below, interspersed with more of the story line that hints of a battle royale to come in Alaskan politics, perhaps complicated by the NRSC.

During my 2007 budget powwow, the legislative director should have been at the table with us so that there would be no surprises in the state house come veto time. Occasionally, he would wander in and out, plop down in the chair at the end of the table, nibble cookies, and absently thumb his BlackBerry. Every now and then a tired staffer on a bathroom break would pass behind him, glance down, then mouth over his head, “It’s Brick- Breaker.”

[...]

More below on Murkowski campaign director and former Palin legislative director, John Bitney, who may have once again bitten off more than he can chew. Thank God he has his tie with which to wipe his mouth. Heh!

If these are the people Mr. Broomfield choose to highlight the day before he heads to Los Angeles to "shop" his film, than he's got problems. These aren't objective critics and they were both horrible public servants. Which explains their problems with Palin in the first place. The Greens and the Bitneys of the world are responsible for the current state of our nation's governing bodies. These are the people who are there to serve themselves, and honest reformers like Sarah Palin are their automatic enemies.

As I stated at the beginning, Nick Broomfield wasted his time and money on this project. While I have little doubt that one of Broomfield's fellow traveler's in L.A. will purchase this film and showcase it all over the world at film festivals, America won't buy it. Nobody outside the realm of crazed left-wing ideologues searching for their justification, will buy it. And even few of them would be willing to fork over money to see it given the current state of the economy, thank you Mr. Obama.

The major problem for Mr. Broomfield however, is that his friends in the media already destroyed his prospects to have any relevance. The witch-hunt conducted by the press, which resulted in the release of most of Governor Palin's emails during her tenure, have rendered these sorts of attacks on her useless. The email disclosure proved that Governor Palin wasn't doing anything shady, and only highlighted her great attributes as a leader. If there were anything to uncover, it would have been uncovered there. The "truth" Mr. Broomfield, has already been revealed about Sarah Palin. It's not her fault that those on the left refuse to acknowledge it.

Setting the Record Straight… Here We Go Again

Wouldn’t it be nice if Beltway gossip magazines did some rudimentary fact-checking before they ran with stories? That is, of course, assuming that they’re not just making stories up out of thin air.

Take, for example, a Politico story out today alleging that Governor Palin’s “Team” is contacting a “list” of Iowa politicos for meetings. The story even quotes one such person who is purported to be on that list for a meeting. Only one problem: it’s not true. Real Clear Politics debunked Politico’s trumped up story:
Politico reported on Monday that Palin aides were reaching out to Iowa operatives and activists to set up meetings during her visit, citing Chuck Laudner, a former Iowa GOP executive director. But Laudner told RCP that he did not have a private meeting scheduled with Palin and that no one who works for the former governor had made contact with him.

Laudner said that he received an invitation to attend the festivities surrounding the movie premiere from Peter Singleton, a California native who moved to Iowa several months ago to help organize in the state in advance of a possible Palin presidential run. Singleton is acting on his own and is not a Palin aide but has often been confused for one as he has made his presence known across the state.
So basically we have a story that is completely bogus. Basic fact-checking is your friend, media. Try it some time.

In the meantime, Governor Palin looks forward to spending time tomorrow with the people of Pella, Iowa, and enjoying the premiere of Stephen K. Bannon’s new film, “The Undefeated.” After that, she heads to Minnesota to join her daughter Bristol at a book signing for Bristol's new book "Not Afraid of Life" at the Mall of America. Then back to Alaska for jury duty.

O4P CA; Hollywood4Palin Event

From the 2008 election, to the 2010 election, to the Middle East uprising's; the lesson could not be more clear. Whoever has the strongest ground team wins. Period.

It's that simple.

The ball is in our court folks. This is ours to win. Or loose.

This is ours for the taking, but we need to get ready. We need all hands on deck.

Sharron Angle & Carly Fiorina should have won their elections. Last November the left quietly accepted the coming nationwide Tea Party tsunami. So, for (perhaps) the fist time they did something that was fiscally prudent, albeit corrupt. They concentrated all their money on Union Bosses & their (taxpayer funded) ground teams. These ACORN-ish tax payer funded hoodlums swooped into CA & NV the last two weeks of the campaigns & poached the elections to preserve the status quo.

Gals & Guys: we cannot allow them to do this to us again. (Fool me once,...)The stakes are too high. GAME ON!

Registration with Organize4Palin (O4P) is one of the most important things to do right now if you want to support a Sarah Palin for President campaign.

We need to have a ground team of David's ready to take on the corrupt tax payer funded Goliath.

Our army of patriotic David's must rise up, stand together in solidarity & whack this nonsense straight between the eyes.

We can do this.

We are doing this for the right reasons.

We work for love of country. Not money.

If you have not done so please register with O4P now: CLICK HERE

America is worth fighting for & America's enemies must be defeated.

Even here in Hollywood Americans are waking up to the fact that we must win this war. Enough is enough. Our country is not meant to be endlessly reshaped & tinkered with according to the dictates of some abstract intellectual concept, hypothesis, or fool notion.

We will work, we will save, we will sacrifice, we will endure.

Here in Hollywood there has been a shift.

Reagan Country is begining to rise.

Two weeks ago master screenwriter & playwright David Mamet came out in support of Governor Sarah Palin.

Both The Hollywood Reporter & Variety (the NYT & WSJ of Hollywood) gave Victory Film Group's The Undefeated great reviews.

Even Ashton Kutcher & Demi Moore came to the defense of Sarah Palin against the LSM's call to dig through Mrs. Palin's emails.

Last Tuesday night O4P CA hosted: HOLLYWOOD4PALIN

Supporters gathered to meet, network, & push the O4P CA agenda.

Because O4P is a call to action & not a top down organization it helps remind us of an important simple truth: One size does not fit all.

Our states are different & unique. What Alabama brings to the table is much different than what California brings.

We are so very proud of the creativity that O4P CA volunteers contribute.

What started as a local O4P CA meet-up in San Francisco organically grew into a ground breaking fusion of activism & art. O4P CA volunteers Susan & Ray formed essex&orange1773.

Essex&Orange1773 has contributed clever & inspiring images to O4P. Their GAME ON! poster is on its way to becoming an iconic & historical testament to this journey we are about to begin. Please check out some of the FREE downloads of Sarah Palin posters they have: CLICK HERE

But the talent, vision, & creativity certainly does not stop there.

On Saturday June 25 2011: O4P CA volunteer Valerie Patterson will launch: 500 Days of Sarah

Val has conceived a photo project to document the historical journey Sarah Palin & our country is about to embark on.

In the 500 days leading up to Election Day 2012 we will share 500 photographs, along with 500 personal stories of regular, hard-working, everyday American Patriots, & Palinistas across the country.

This will be a living & breathing snapshot into their lives & you will see what Tea Party Americans are all about.

Make yourself part of history. To get in on 500 Days of Sarah simply throw on your favorite pair of boots on the ground, take a picture of yourself wearing them & e-mail the photo to us(val@500daysofsarah.com) along with your 500 words or less essay.

Please include all of the following information in your e-mail:

- Name
- Age
- City & State
- Occupation
- What first introduced you to Sarah Palin?
- Why do you think Sarah Palin should be our next President of the United States?

America faces many challenges today. In order to solve these challenges we must have a strong ground team & a steel spine.

To find & reclaim our steel spine we must look to America's past for guidance.

Just like we are learning from Sarah Palin's One Nation Tour; it is in our past, our history, & our foundation that we will find the simple truths, the whole story, & the solutions to the challenges that we face today.

Historically, our country has been changed for the better when groups of people come together and unite for the right reasons.

Now more than ever we must unite once again.

I challenge everyone reading this today:

Get 5 people to register with Organize4Palin (O4P).

Get 5 people to TEXT: 4PALIN to 74679

Get 5 people to go to www.Organize4Palin.com & click on You're invited.

Get 5 people to understand that as we move toward the 2012 Presidential election it is vital that we are honest with ourselves about the truths that we know to be true, & our willingness to fight for those truths.

“It is time to reawaken this industrial giant, to get government back within its means, and to lighten our punitive tax burden. And these will be our first priorities, and on these principles there will be no compromise.” - Ronald Reagan

We will no longer be silenced by the know-it-alls who have brought us capitulation by falling for their disingenuous calls of compromise, middle ground, & moderation.

When we listen to the know-it-alls & the wet blankets, we lose. When we do the right thing, we win.

We must refuse to play Charlie Brown to their Lucy.

We will not be blurred, we will not be indistinguishable.

Charlie Brown has a message for Lucy, "Knock it off, I am taking the ball!"

We can do this. All hands on deck.

For too long Hollywood has been spoon fed the myth of the Independent Voter & the imaginary Electable Centrist. Deep down we all know its garbage.

There is a reason that a steel spine is so enticing. It gets results.

The mortgaging of our future stops now.

Bold Colors. No Pale Pastels.

The more support I see, the harder I want to work, and the more determined I am to not let folks down. -Sarah Palin

Video: AZ O4P gives media/left 'Something to talk about'
